Wheelchair and mobility assistance

Support services to help passengers who require wheelchair or mobility assistance navigate Pearson with ease.

Need mobility assistance?

Departures

There are accessible drop-off locations on the Departures level inner curbs of both Terminals where a pre-arranged attendant can meet you and offer assistance into the Terminal. These zones have large accessibility symbols, cut curbs, tactile walking strips, seating, a phone with large print and Braille signage, and a QR code to request assistance:

  • Terminal 1: Posts 9, 21, 37
  • Terminal 3: Posts 17, 29

If you’re flying out of Toronto Pearson on Air Canada and need assistance from the curbside area to the check-in counters at our airport, please call 416-776-2700 or send an email to dispatch@fnyxgroup.com to pre-arrange curbside assistance. For any other airline, contact your airline at least 48 hours before your flight and let them know you’ll need assistance from the curbside area to the check-in counters at Toronto Pearson.

The pre-arranged attendant can also meet you at the parking, Sheraton hotel, Alt hotel and UP Express. Assistance is available approximately three hours prior to your flight’s departure.

For wheelchair assistance inside the airport on Air Canada or any other airline, please contact your airline directly at least 48 hours before your flight and tell them you’ll need assistance with mobility or equipment in the terminal. Let them know about any specific supports you use.

Arrivals

Note: there is no designated drop off area on the Arrivals level at this time. However, Express Pass is available, where families can park for up to 20 minutes for free when picking up or dropping off passengers. Book your free Express Pass.

Upon landing, the attendant can drop you off at the curb for pick-up, parking, Sheraton hotel, Alt hotel, UP Express, and the receiving airline if you are connecting onwards from Pearson.
Contact your airline at least 48 hours before your flight and tell them you’ll need assistance with mobility or equipment in the terminal. Let them know about any specific supports you use.
