CASW is a nationwide, employee-focused initiative that celebrates the critical role airport workers play in maintaining a safe and secure working environment. This year's theme, Collaboration and Mitigation, highlighted how working together to identify hazards, reduce risk and share knowledge helps strengthen our safety culture.
Throughout the week, airport workers from across the Pearson community took part in a wide range of activities and learning opportunities, including the Safety Cash Cab, Safety Express Bus, Safety Summit, Road-eo, FOD Walk, daily quizzes and online safety content. Together, we explored topics ranging from hazard reporting and psychological safety to safe driving, fire prevention and foreign object debris awareness.
Participation was strong both online and in person, demonstrating the commitment, enthusiasm and shared accountability that help make Pearson a safer place to work. Whether you joined an activity, completed a quiz, attended an event or simply took time to learn something new, thank you for contributing to a safer airport community.
