Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and our current workforce, we are unable to hold in-person events and activities. As a result, during this week, we’ll highlight key safety messages and initiatives through our digital channels. Each day will focus on different safety topics and employees will be able to participate in online contests and have chances to win some great prizes!

FOD Awareness Online Training
FOD creates safety hazards where small debris, wildlife or loose objects can potentially impact airport operation by damaging aircraft, ground equipment and injure personnel. It is an important safety and quality control concept using the Safety Management System (SMS) as required by Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs). The FOD Awareness training will help identify FOD, methods to eliminate it and prevent it.
The online training is the responsibility of all airport employees. It is a mandatory one-time completion by all airport employees who work airside, or who have functions related to the airside movement area.
Complete your training at the link below during Airport Safety Week and win a prize! Read the full contest rules.
