You can keep Toronto Pearson safe by reporting emergencies, safety hazards, security concerns, and proactively preventing injuries. It is critical to use the correct reporting channel below and report in real time.

Emergency situations

Call this number in real time to report a situation that requires police, fire department, or ambulance response. Some examples of emergency situations include but are not limited to:
- All accidents and incidents resulting in, or with the likely potential to result in personal injury
- Fire
- Life-threatening situations
- Fuel spills
- Damage to an aircraft, equipment, or property
*Toronto Pearson has its own Airport Operations Center, and it is important you do not call 911 as it could cause a delay in response.
NOTE: This does not apply to Airway Centre as it is not on airport property. If an emergency occurs at Airway Centre, call 911.
NOTE: All employees who reported an injury to the airport operations emergency line must follow their company’s injury reporting procedures as well.
Non-Emergency Situations

Call this number in real time to report hazards that do not require emergency response. Some examples of non-emergency situations include but are not limited to:
- Coffee/Water Spills
- Icy conditions
- Speeding airside
- Aircraft cut-off
- Airside equipment & airside parking concerns
- Foreign Object Debris (FOD) you are unable to pick up
- Wildlife activity
- Facility Maintenance issues
- Leaks
Security Concerns

Call for security concerns in real time such as unattended items, gates or doors not closing/securing, piggybacking, suspicious vehicles and activities, suspicious individuals and vandalism.
Proactive concerns
This section addresses reports identifying systemic issues and situations that can’t be resolved through operational procedures and emergency response.
NOTE: This reporting form is monitored Monday to Friday during regular business hours only. If you have an emergency, always call 416-776-3033.
Exception to reporting through the online Form: If an employee identifies unsafe behavior or unsafe conditions (ex: working at heights with no fall protection, a vehicle speeding on the airside apron), proactively report this to the non-emergency number right away (416-776-3055).

What happens when you report a safety concern?
When a safety concern is reported using the QR code, a 7-step process is started to assess and address the issue:
- First response – Thank you for reporting!
- Risk analysis – How serious is this event?
- Investigation – What happened?
- Root cause analysis – Why did this happen?
- Corrective action – How are we going to fix this?
- Audit – Did we fix the issue?
- Feedback – All safe! Thank you for reporting.
