Moises and Daveshwar
A.S.P Inc.;
Each nominated for a Health and Safety Leader award in the “Safest Action” Category.

While on duty, Moises and Daveshwar noticed a vehicle on fire in the Terminal 1 parking garage. After ensuring no one was in the vehicle, they reported the fire to the Airport Emergency Line (416-776-3033) and tried to control the fire by using a fire extinguisher. While Moises deployed the fire extinguisher, Daveshwar controlled the scene and ensured passengers and employees were kept at a safe distance away from the vehicle. Moises and Daveshwar handled the situation calmly and quickly, while waiting for emergency responders to arrive.

Thank you, Moises and Daveshwar, for your quick thinking and actions to reduce the impact and severity of this incident!
