North American Occupational Safety and Health Week 2026: Thank You for Joining Us

Thank you to everyone who participated in another great North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week at Pearson.

NAOSH Week is all about raising awareness of the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace and this year, you showed up in a big way.

From a full FOD Walk to a record‑breaking turnout at the Safety Fair, NAOSH 2026 was packed with energy, learning and connection. We were also excited to introduce new activities, including drop‑in meditation sessions, giving participants a chance to focus on both physical and psychological safety.

Across five days of online and in‑person activities, teams jumped in to build their safety skills, connect with colleagues, and have fun along the way—with highlights like Safety Cash Cab and great prize giveaways.

More About the History of NAOSH Week

NAOSH Week was first launched in June 1997, as an agreement between Canada, the United States and Mexico with the goal of focusing employers, employees, partners and the public on the importance of preventing injury and illness.

Health, safety and security are among Toronto Pearson’s top priorities, reflecting our unwavering commitment to keeping all workers safe. Our people are the heart and soul of our operations—our passengers, their friends and families, the communities we serve, and our valued employees.
