How to park at Pearson with ease

Peace of mind starts with knowing these tips and tricks

There’s a special kind of satisfaction in showing up somewhere and landing the perfect parking spot. At Pearson, that’s just an everyday occurrence. Our team has put in place services and strategies to make parking as pleasant as possible. We want to keep our curbside moving, so passengers can arrive and depart stress free. Here are the best ways to park this summer travel season.

Book your parking spot in advance

Reserving a parking spot at one of our lots before you arrive is the easiest wait to park at Pearson. It’s also a great way to achieve peace of mind: knowing that you will make your flight with time to spare, and that your vehicle will be within walking distance when you land—no shuttles required. Simply use our booking tool to find the best location and best deal for your parking experience. Users can cancel up to 24 hours before entry for free, and we also have corporate rates for group discounts.

Wait nearby—convenient and close to the terminals

Drivers picking up friends and family can wait in one of our two cell phone waiting areas at no charge for up to 45 minutes. Located a quick drive from Terminals 1 and 3, these lots keep roads free from congestion and provide a relaxing place to post up. One of the lots is also equipped to charge EVs (standard charging rates apply) . You can find directions to both waiting areas here.

Visit our valet

Pull up to Terminal 1’s Departure Curb (Post 9) and you’ll find our friendly valet service waiting to chaperone your vehicle to the nearby indoor Parking Garage. Once there, our customer service team will take care of your vehicle and all the rest. The one-time valet fee is $20, with a daily maximum of $56. Passengers on longer journeys will need to pay $275 for the first seven days and then $56 a day for any time beyond that. Car wash and detailing services are also available and can be booked during check-in. Register before leaving for the airport to save time.

And please remember: don’t idle

Beating traffic is all about keeping things moving, and the curb is a critical touchpoint on the passenger journey. For that reason, there’s no stopping or parking on any curbside shoulder in and around the terminals. Not only is this behaviour inconsiderate, it’s dangerous and illegal, and can result in tickets and fines—$50 for drivers who park on roadways leading to the terminal; and $85 for those who dwell on the terminal’s curbs. So do the right thing: become a parking pro and make flying at Pearson speedier and easier for everyone.
