Nest Fund

Toronto Pearson is the world’s gateway to Canada, and we constantly think about the stories and experiences of everyone who passes through our doors—the travelers, our brave frontline workers, our partners and members of the community.

We believe that if there is one place that should be a true reflection of diversity and inclusion, it must be an airport. Our business, after all, is to connect people and cultures from all over the world; this is the essence of who we are at Toronto Pearson.

Toronto Pearson is on a reconciliation journey. Our journey is guided by community engagement with a focus on organizational learning, building authentic relationships, and community-level action. Toronto Pearson has proudly supported many organizations to build their internal capacity through the Nest Fund. In 2025 we will build on this impact by investing in the organizational resilience of Indigenous-led organizations.

The Nest Fund has supported numerous local organizations, including: Black Youth School Success Initiative, Canadian Roots Exchange, Eshkiniigjik Naandwechigegamig, Aabiish Gaa Binjibaaying (ENAGB), Help a Girl Out, Trust 15, Weston Frontlines Centre, Artscape, JAYU, Nai Children’s Choir, Newcomer Kitchen, Oakville Foundation, Ogaden Somali Association of Ontario, The Riverwood Conservancy, Visions of Science.

"Toronto Pearson is passionate about widening their reach by engaging with grassroots organizations, resulting in lasting relationships and tangible impact. They are at the frontline of promoting and encouraging Canada's diversity not just as the avenue of entrance but also as a champion for the needs of the wider population."
