Pearson is proud to present **ਅਲਮਾਰੀ (Almirah)**, an installation by Vancouver-based artist Simranpreet Anand, featured as part of the Toronto Biennial of Art’s fourth edition, *Things Fall Apart*.
Bringing together photography, textile traditions and family memories, the large-scale work reimagines traditional Punjabi dhurrie flatweaving patterns using close-up photographs of clothing worn by Anand, her mother and sisters over decades of family and cultural celebrations.
As light filters through the installation’s intricate patterns, the work creates a warm, atmospheric glow along the corridor, inviting travellers to pause and reflect on the connections between family, identity and cultural heritage.
Experience **ਅਲਮਾਰੀ (Almirah)** in Terminal 1’s Departures Transfer Concourse on Level 3. Presented in partnership with the Toronto Biennial of Art, the installation is part of a free, city-wide exhibition spanning more than 13 sites across Toronto.
