In 2007, he was invested as a Companion of the Order of Canada for his “innovative, versatile and prolific” multidisciplinary career.
The Goddess of Space-Rockette is part of the major set of works he developed during the 1960s called the Walking Woman series, where he explored the visual representation of a walking woman in profile using various media.
