New deal as the exclusive telecom partner of Toronto Pearson, delivering technology‑driven enhancements to elevate the passenger experience
Rogers and Toronto Pearson today announced a new long-term agreement renewing Rogers as a major partner of Canada’s largest and busiest airport. The multi-year partnership brings new technology, connectivity and experiences to Pearson Airport – designed to help travellers stay powered, productive and entertained from arrival to departure.
More than 47 million passengers travel through Toronto Pearson’s terminals. They’ll soon see a series of enhancements to make their journey more engaging, productive and connected. These include new sports, entertainment and branded experiences to elevate the Pearson Airport passenger experience, reimagined business pods powered with the latest technology to support productivity and comfort, and the delivery of next-generation portable charging solutions to keep passengers connected throughout their entire travel journey.
“We’re building on our strong relationship with Toronto Pearson to bring even more innovation, connectivity and entertainment to improve the overall passenger experience,” said Tony Staffieri, President and CEO, Rogers.
As a major partner, Rogers will receive brand integration throughout high-traffic areas of the airport, offer interactive touchpoints for travellers, and collaborate with Toronto Pearson on future-focused initiatives that elevate operations and customer service.
“We’re thrilled that our competitive bidding process resulted in a new agreement with Rogers, which extends our relationship and will reinvent technology and communications experiences to bring new innovations and experiences to our passengers,” said Deborah Flint, President and CEO of Toronto Pearson. “At Toronto Pearson, we’re partnering with best-in-class providers to make travel easier and more enjoyable. By integrating advanced technology, enhancing connectivity and designing thoughtful spaces, we’re creating smoother, more seamless journeys.”
Under the agreement, Rogers will also receive exclusive telecommunications branding and advertising rights throughout Toronto Pearson’s terminals.
The partnership will roll out in phases beginning later this year.
