Before your journey

Here are some tips to make your trip easier.

  • When you check-in, ask if you can check your bags all the way to your final destination. Make sure you know if you need to pick up your bags and recheck them in at Pearson.

  • Connecting with duty-free purchases

Arrive in Terminal 1

Look for your departing flight on the screens in the terminal. Confirm the departure gates:

Clear customs

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), the agency responsible for border enforcement, customs and immigration, will verify your documents.

Security screening

You will be directed to the security screening lanes located immediately after the customs passport scanners.

In your departure terminal

Proceed to your departure gate

Check the flight information screens throughout the terminal to verify your departing gate.
