Tails Wagging: YYZ welcomes guide and assistance dogs in training

Celebrating International Guide Dog Day

On April 26, we proudly celebrated International Guide Dog Day in partnership with WestJet and Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, providing a training facility for new guide and assistance dogs for the past two years.

On this special day, the dogs and their trainers in Terminal 3 familiarized themselves with all aspects of the airport experience, from security screening to boarding an aircraft.

At Toronto Pearson, we are committed to providing a smooth and enjoyable airport experience for all, and this partnership is just one example of how we're continuously working to identify, remove, and prevent barriers for people with disabilities.

Let's celebrate together our commitment to making our airport accessible for everybody.
