Now landed: Welcome to Toronto Pearson’s new and improved website.

New app offers passengers on-demand sign language interpretation

We’re the first airport in Canada to offer Aira ASL for free.

At Pearson, we’re committed to creating an inclusive, accessible experience for all travelers.

That’s why we’re proud to announce a partnership with Aira Tech Corp to pilot the mobile app Aira ASL for our passengers who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Aira ASL provides on-demand American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services, and we’ve made it free to use while at Pearson. Through the app, our passengers can instantly access a professional interpreter without needing to schedule in advance.

This new accessibility service allows our passengers to communicate seamlessly with airport staff – empowering them to navigate our airport independently and confidently.

Our pilot phase will last until December 31, 2025, as we evaluate our passengers’ experience with the app.
