National Day of Mourning is observed across the country on April 28 as a way to remember those who have lost their lives or experienced illness or injury while on the job. This annual ceremony provides an opportunity to reflect, remember and recommit ourselves to our shared goal of zero injuries.
In honour of this occasion, workers, leaders and partners from across the airport come together each year for a ceremony and reception. All members of the Pearson community are encouraged to join in this observance.
