If you wish to vape or smoke cigarettes, you must visit one of the 10 designated outdoor smoking areas. These areas are clearly marked with signage on the ground and the columns. They can be found on all levels of Terminal 1 and 3.
These smoking areas are located a certain distance from the building's entrances, exits and loading areas.
Cannabis smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere on airport grounds. It's your responsibility to know the Cannabis Act's implications in relation to travel to, from, or through Pearson Airport.
We enforce our smoking policy as much as possible. Our public safety officers and other airport employees who work curbside will demand that anyone caught smoking outside of the designated areas stop immediately and move to the smoking area if they wish to continue smoking.
