The way Uber, Lyft and Hopp drivers and passengers find each other on the ground level at Terminal 1 is changing.
Starting Monday, March 2, ride share providers will be allocated a pickup zone along the curb outside doors P, Q, R and S on the ground level. Zones are allocated as follows:
Zone 3 – Lyft and Hopp
Zone 4 and 5 – Uber
Uber passengers and drivers will be assigned a bay within zone 4 or 5. Check the app for your pickup location.
As more travellers pass through Toronto Pearson — including the visitors we’re expecting this summer for the world’s biggest soccer tournament — we’re continually working to make the journey smoother for everyone.
This update will improve coordination between passengers and drivers to avoid confusion at the curb and ensure a more efficient ride to your destination.
