The Family Lounge is a welcoming space where families can relax and recharge before their flight. Kids can unwind with movies and entertainment while parents take a moment to settle in before continuing their journey. It’s the perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a little downtime at Pearson.

YYZ Live

Enjoy live performances inspired by the beautiful game. Through our YYZ Live program, we’ll be hosting globally inspired performances in our terminals, celebrating the nations competing in Toronto this year and the cultures that make the game truly universal. Expect music, movement and high-energy moments that reflect the diversity of the fans travelling through our airport.

Ron Martin Magician

Add a little wonder to your March Break travel plans. Ron Martin will be performing live magic in the Family Lounge, delighting kids and adults alike with interactive tricks and close-up illusions. It’s a fun surprise for families passing through the terminal and a great way to add a bit of entertainment before boarding your flight.

When: March 14 and 15, 1 pm to 4 pm

Surprise and Delight Giveaways

Keep an eye out for our brand ambassadors as they share a few fun surprises with travellers. Passengers passing through T3 may receive Pearson-branded swag, adding a small moment of excitement to the travel experience as they make their way through the terminal.

Helpful tips for one of the busiest travel times of the year

At peak times, the airport sees hundreds of flights arriving and departing each day. To help make your journey smoother, here are a few tools and tips to plan ahead:


  • Mobile Passport Control, an app introduced by United States Customs and Border Protection that allows travellers to digitally submit their information for a smoother departure experience when travelling to the U.S.
  • Before you fly, review your airline’s baggage policies, as check-in and carry-on limits vary by carrier.
  • If you are a passenger with a disability, notify your airline of your needs at least 48 hours before your flight. Pearson offers a variety of accessible services and facilities to support your journey.
  • Passengers with invisible disabilities can request a Sunflower lanyard at the information desks in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Wearing the lanyard discreetly signals to staff that you may need additional assistance, time, or understanding.
  • Our live wait times dashboard provides real-time information before you arrive at the airport, helping you better plan your trip.
  • Register online to park your car and guarantee your spot ahead of time.
  • Flying into Canada? Submit your customs and immigration info in advance with Advance Declaration (offered by CBSA) up to 72 hours before arrival. You’ll save time and get access to the Express Lane at customs.
  • If you’re picking up friends or family, use the free cell phone waiting area, where you can park for up to 45 minutes at no cost.
