Airport taxis and limos
We know your travel journey doesn’t end when the plane lands, which is why we’ve introduced measures to keep you safe while travelling home in an airport taxi or limo.
New policies at Pearson
As we all adapt to fight the spread of COVID-19, we've made changes to airport policies to help create a healthy airport environment, introducing a suite of advanced new technology and the employing the expanded efforts of cleaning staff.
The disinfection corridor is a custom-built solution, made right here in Toronto for Pearson. Working with our cleaning services partner, Dexterra, we developed a product that effectively and efficiently disinfects airport workers and passengers, their clothes and their bags. You can find it in Terminal 1 on Level 2, directly after exiting the bridge from the UP Express station.
What does yogurt and the airport have in common? Probiotics! We're testing the use of these tiny microorganisms at Toronto Pearson as another layer of defense to keep our airport clean and to keep employees and passengers healthy.
Indoor air quality
High-touch areas of the airport aren’t the only thing we’re cleaning! Did you know that the air quality in our terminals is constantly monitored and filtered? Have a look at how we’re helping you breathe easier!
UV light disinfection
From our escalator handrails to your personal devices and even the air you breathe, we’re putting your health first. Check out the below video, which shines a light on the new disinfection innovations we’ve implemented:
