Faiza

Faiza is a Toronto based artist who first emerged on the scene in 2016 with the release of her single Body Babe. Since then she has been very active performing at festivals such as CMW, NXNE, SXSW and Manifesto, to name a few. In 2018 Faiza was featured on CTV's new series The Launch, solidifying her position as one to watch. Shortly after her appearance on the show, she landed her first sync placement in the new CBC show titled “Diggstown”, her song Bands was featured in the opening credits of the first episode. Faiza has been working with fellow up and coming producer Nate Smith and more established producers Junia-t and Birthday Boy on her EP Set to drop in the later part of 2020. She's also been featured on 3 songs on budding producer Junia-T's album Studio Monk. Look out for this rising star, as her career is just getting started!

Charmie

Discover one of Toronto’s musical gems through the passionate R&B and pop-soul of 24-year-old singer/songwriter Charmie. Born in Haiti, Charmie began exploring her musical talents at the young age of nine. As a self-taught musician, she excels at playing guitar, piano, bass, drums and even beatboxing. Charmie was featured in the documentary Busk and has performed in front of audiences at City Hall, Nathan Phillips Square, Harbourfront Centre and other venues around Toronto. Currently working on her debut album " In the Making”, her contemporary style of music is a unique fusion of R&B and Pop Soul. Known for fostering a deep connection with her audiences, Charmie's words go straight from her heart to yours.

Stretch

Stretch is a 25-year-old hip hop artist from Scarborough who's made it his mission to champion the many, many stories of Toronto's east end. His music is soulfully eclectic and includes a lot of live elements that help better contribute to his overall vision. His sophomore project "Soleil" is currently available on all streaming platforms in addition to his debut mixtape entitled "The ball park tape".

Ahmed Moneka

Since arriving in Canada from Iraq, just 4 years ago, my contributions as a performing artist in music and theatre have been welcomed and notable. The scene has warmly embraced my Iraqi artistic heritage – its stories and songs - into its own growing cultural narrative. I’ve found myself enriched through many collaborations including Canadian Opera Company, Tafelmusik, TD Toronto Jazz festival, Kroner Hall, Aga Khan Museum, Lula Wold and the Opera House etc. I’m one of the founders of Moskitto Bar and the creator and leader of Moneka Arabic Jazz. I’ve been an Artist-in-residence with Driftwood Theatre Group: Stingray Rising Stars winner 2019 at TD Toronto Jazz festival. At this event I'll perform with my dear friend Majd Sekkar.
