WhyYZ - What does dining at the airport look like right now?

Haven't been to the airport in a while? Wondering how things have changed?

Our new #WhyYZ series helps to answer these questions and more, providing helpful tips and an insider’s look at how our #HealthyAirport has changed to keep passengers and airport workers safe and healthy.

We recently talked with Suzanne, Senior Manager, Retail Operations and Performance, who shares what new safety measures are in place and what your options are when you’re here.

What does dining at the airport look like?

To meet public health guidelines on physical distancing, tables and chairs have been removed or appropriately spaced at food and beverage locations. To make your experience easier, you can order and pay from your own device using QR code menus and mobile phone payments at selected locations.

What if I don’t want to use eat-in dining?

Many restaurants at Toronto Pearson offer take-out options. Passengers can also use Uber Eats food ordering from in-terminal restaurants. This service is convenient, contactless and allows you to order in advance and pick up from the restaurant to avoid queuing in line.
