“My name is Nadia and I am a Core Agent with Aviation and Airport Services Canada Inc. (AAS Inc.), having worked at Toronto Pearson since 2013. I was born in Iraq where I met my husband and I have three amazing kids.
“My main role with AAS Inc. is providing transportation and directions to passengers in the terminals as well as collecting wheelchairs around the airport. Driving the passengers to their gates and helping them navigate the terminals makes their boarding process that much easier, and I’m happy to contribute to the passenger experience every day I’m there.
“The most joy that I get from my job is when I interact with passengers from different parts of the world and am able to speak to them about their travels while I drive them to their gate – I meet all kinds of interesting people! The most challenging part is collecting all the wheelchairs around the airport – it can be quite tiring since the airport is such a big place!
“I would tell someone who is interested in working with AAS that we have an incredibly friendly and helpful management team that make themselves available to assist the agents at all times, along with other very kind and welcoming peers. It’s really a great place to work.”
