People of Pearson: Patricia

“My name is Patricia and I started my career in aviation in 2004. Currently I’m an In Charge Flight Attendant at Canada Jetlines, one of Canada’s newest airlines. I help make sure that during the flight, safety is our top priority, while ensuring our passengers' expectations are exceeded from boarding to disembarking. Our goal is to offer genuine hospitality and execute a smooth, enjoyable experience for all our guests.

“I love working with so many different people and being able to mentor them to succeed as a team. It’s also rewarding to be part of the customer's journey and creating a memorable experience. Delays and missed connections happen—whether from resource challenges or bad weather—but we work hard to try and keep the experience positive for our passengers. I’m passionate about providing outstanding customer service at every opportunity I get, and I enjoy being in a leadership role to foster recovery on those tougher days.

“It’s exciting to be part of a start-up company like Canada Jetlines. With the recent announcement of flights to Las Vegas, Nevada and Melbourne/Orlando, Florida, I look forward to the growth of new destinations and more aircraft joining the fleet. We have an opportunity to make history and build a culture where all employees can feel involved and appreciated.

“My advice to anyone interested in joining the team is this: If you enjoy travel, challenging but rewarding work, and helping others, then this is a job and a lifestyle for you.”
