Meet Magdalena, who offers best-in-class service

Magdalena enjoys her role, bringing Toronto Pearson’s award-winning service to travellers. Our food and beverage program is an important driver of airport hygiene measures, and employees contribute to a safe, healthy and enjoyable airport passenger experience.

“Working at Toronto Pearson Airport is a very dynamic environment compared to all the other places I've worked before.  The diversity of both employees and travelers makes the airport community unique and exciting. Employees are empowered to help develop a friendly environment to visit for our passengers. Every employee, and our leadership, are encouraged to go the extra mile to provide excellent service and create a memorable stopover.”

Magdalena shared one such experience: “One morning I arrived for my 3:30 am opening shift.  I noticed someone shivering from the overnight cold.  I offered her a warm drink to take away the chill and mentioned that the restaurant will be open at 4 am. She came back later that morning to thank me before departing. I am encouraged to have our team continue to contribute to Toronto Pearson’s recognition as “Best large airport in North America”.

Thank you, Magdalena!
