Lynx Air announces major expansion from YYZ

Great news! Canada’s newest ultra-affordable air carrier, Lynx Air, announced major service expansion from Toronto Pearson to a list of Canadian destinations today. The expanded network includes:

  • Toronto Pearson – Halifax: Three flights per week starting June 30, increasing to five per week on July 30, 2022.
  • Toronto Pearson – St. John’s: Two flights per week starting June 28, 2022, increasing to seven per week on July 28, 2022.
  • Toronto Pearson – Calgary: An additional five flights per week (for a total of 12) starting June 28, 2022.
  • Toronto Pearson – Edmonton: Seven flights per week starting July 28, 2022.

“Lynx Air is providing more options for those travelling to other parts of Canada, while also giving visitors to Pearson greater opportunities to explore Ontario,” said Stephan Rouleau, Director of Airside Ground Operations, Greater Toronto Airports Authority. “This expansion announcement from Lynx Air is welcome news as travel restrictions continue to ease and interest in air travel on the part of the public continues to rise.”

We would like to congratulate Lynx Air on this exciting milestone as it bodes well for the recovery of our industry and our economy. We look forward to welcoming further service expansions from all of our airline partners.
