Kenaidan and GTAA donate $20,000 to First Nations Child and Family Caring Society

We’re pleased to announce that our partner Kenaidan Contracting Ltd. has been awarded the Obayashi Project of Excellence Award 2020 for its work on our Gate 193 expansion project. We’re even more excited to announce that Kenaidan has graciously donated its $7,000 prize, plus an additional $3,000, to the Propeller Project, our community investment fund.

The GTAA is congratulating Kenaidan on their award and thanking them for their continued partnership by matching their donation for a grand total of $20,000.

In recognition of National Indigenous History Month, these funds will be donated to the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society. Developed at the Squamish First Nation in 1998, the Caring Society works to ensure the safety and well-being of First Nations youth and their families through education initiatives, public policy campaigns and providing quality resources to support communities.
