Disinfection corridor at Toronto Pearson

The disinfection corridor is a custom-built solution, made right here in Toronto for YYZ. Working with our cleaning services partner, Dexterra, we developed a product that effectively and efficiently disinfects airport workers and passengers, their clothes and their bags.

The voluntary disinfection corridor uses a chemical-free spray to give you a pre- or post-flight spritz, safely sanitizing you in a matter of seconds. To activate the corridor, walk through the tunnel and stop on the orange square on the floor mat. Motion sensors will activate the corridor, releasing a spray of hypochlorous, a 99.5% water-based solution that is safe and non-toxic.

Next time you're in Terminal 1, you can find the disinfection corridor on Level 2, directly after exiting the bridge from the UP Express station. Try it out!
