Ms. Flint took the time to speak about the importance building air capacity to help promote supply chain resilience. She also touched on the GTAA’s work to build a healthier, smarter and greener Toronto Pearson and highlighted the importance of continued partnership with all levels of government across a variety of endeavours, from finding innovative solutions to fund necessary infrastructure projects to building a playbook for the next pandemic.
Ms. Flint also focused on the GTAA’s ambitious environmental commitments, from reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 70% in 2020 versus a 2006 baseline to joining the World Economic Forum’s Clean Skies initiative and becoming an inaugural member of the Canadian Council for Sustainable Aviation Fuels.
