Currently, Transport Canada recommends that U.S. bound travellers arrive 3 hours before to their flight to allow for security screening and U.S. Customs processing.
Travelling to the United States requires multiple steps:
Do you travel frequently to the U.S.? You may wish to apply for a NEXUS/Global Entry Card.
NOTE: NEXUS/Global Entry Card holders may enter the U.S. Customs hall in Terminals 1 and 3 at any time with their valid NEXUS/Global Entry Card and U.S. Customs cards.
In order to travel to the U.S. or return to Canada, a valid passport or other permissible document (such as a NEXUS/Global Entry Card card) is required.

Due to construction, the NEXUS Enrolment Centre has been temporarily relocated to 2935 Convair Drive, Mississauga, ON.
