Airport Road Lane Restrictions and Closures

On May 24 from 18:00 – 21:00, there will be lane restrictions on Airport Road between American Drive and Bresler Drive. Between 21:00 on May 24 and 05:00 on May 25, Airport Road will be closed in both directions between American Drive and Bresler Drive.

Detours, signage and traffic control will be in place throughout the detour period. Please use caution in these areas and allow extra time for the detour.

This closure is required for overhead work on the track for the train between Toronto Pearson and Union Station.

Important Information for Guests Travelling to the United States

At certain times of the day, you may experience longer than normal wait times when travelling to the United States. This is due to resource constraints faced by U.S. CBP as a result of recent budget cuts implemented by the U.S. government.

As typically requested by air carriers, please arrive two hours prior to your scheduled departure time.

During periods of congestion in the U.S. CBP hall, you may be requested to proceed to a designated waiting area before proceeding through the U.S. CBP preclearance process. During these times, passengers will be called into the U.S. CBP hall in a coordinated manner based on departure times. This is done in order to ensure all guests are able to get to their flight on time.
