Taking Flight - A bold vision for Toronto Pearson

Our main focus is the continuous development of Toronto Pearson as one of the world’s great international airports. A gateway to the world, if you will.

Our Master Plan, Taking Flight: The Airport Master Plan 2008–2030, outlines our vision of a Toronto Pearson that is guest friendly, functional, architecturally stunning and cost-effective. This Plan comes from our ongoing dialogue with the many stakeholders who rely on Toronto Pearson daily:

    • Our airlines
    • Airport businesses
    • Federal, provincial and municipal agencies
    • The GTA business community
    • Airport users
    • Community groups
    • Special interest groups
    • Citizens of the GTA

Why do we look to 2030?

The GTAA Master Plan isn’t about growing the airport or region, as previous Plans have outlined. In fact, the 2008–2030 plan looks forward to a future in which Toronto Pearson has reached capacity. And by that we mean fulfilling and exceeding expectations in all aspects - from the number of airlines providing service, to the shops and restaurants available to guests, to continuous improvements and innovations.

After all, Toronto Pearson is already a world-class airport. The only place to go is up.

Please download your copy of the Airport Master Plan. In order to meet our enhanced environmental standards, the plan is not available in print.
