Safety & Security
When it comes to air travel, you can never be too safe or too secure. At Toronto Pearson, the safety of our guests and employees, community and country is at the core of every decision we make.
In order to ensure the highest level of safety and security at our airport, the GTAA employs seven key divisions geared toward airport safety. Together, they form a continuous on-site presence that performs many functions, including:
- Emergency response
- Ongoing training and certification
- Regular and ad hoc inspections, as required throughout the airport
