Safety & Security Award
The Safety and Security Award formally recognizes individuals or groups of individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the safety and security of Toronto Pearson in the following areas:
- Airport Safety and Security
- Criminal or Policing Activities
- Emergency Support and/or Medical Assistance
Who is eligible?
Any member of the airport community may be nominated for acting "above and beyond" their normal duties to assist in maintaining safety and security at Toronto Pearson.
Nomination process
Nominations are reviewed by Safety & Security Senior Management to determine if the actions of the individual merit an award by going "above and beyond" what is normally expected of an airport employee.

Presentation of award
Upon approval of an award, the winning individual will be presented with a commemorative plaque and their photo will be placed in the Award Recipients Gallery.
